Posaidon Capital is proud to be part of HRH The Prince of Wales’ Sustainable Market Initiative’s Natural Capital Investment Alliance (the “NCIA”) and of the announcement today at the World Leaders Summit at COP26 in Glasgow. The members of this Alliance have plans to mobilise more than USD 10 billion of private capital for Natural Capital opportunities by the end of 2022.
The Alliance now has a total of 15 asset manager members, with 12 new members comprising of 12Tree; ASN Impact Investors; the International business of Federated Hermes; Fidelity International; Fondaction; Foresight; Impax Asset Management; Kilter Rural; Posaidon Capital; Sail Ventures; Schroders; and SLM Partners. They join existing members Climate Asset Management, a joint venture between HSBC Global Asset Management and Pollination; Lombard Odier; and Mirova.
The NCIA aims to accelerate the development of Natural Capital as a mainstream investment theme and to engage the global USD 120 trillion investment management industry to mobilise this private capital efficiently and effectively for Natural Capital opportunities.
